2024 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Reveals Refreshed Look and Pricing Adjustments

Posted on January 19, 2024January 19, 2024 by thecruisectrlr

Hyundai’s 2024 Elantra Hybrid is making waves with its refreshed exterior and interior, accompanied by a notable price adjustment. The latest pricing details released earlier this month showcase a starting price of $26,250 for the base Blue grade, signaling a $1,700 increase from its 2023 counterpart. After factoring in the mandatory destination charge of $1,150, the total cost for the 2024 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Blue comes to $27,400.

For the more sophisticated Limited grade, a modest $300 price hike compared to the 2023 model brings the total to $30,600 with destination included.

As observed by CarsDirect, these pricing shifts widen the gap between the Elantra Hybrid and the standard Elantra. The non-hybrid 2024 Elantra now stands $4,775 cheaper, emphasizing a notable price distinction.

While all Elantra models receive refreshed styling for 2024, the Elantra Hybrid takes it a step further with an upgraded infotainment screen. However, fuel economy remains relatively consistent.

For the Blue model, EPA city and highway fuel economy ratings have seen adjustments for 2024—51 mpg city and 58 mpg highway compared to 53 mpg city and 56 mpg highway in 2023. Notably, the 54-mpg combined rating remains unchanged, as do all ratings for the Limited model—50 mpg combined, 49 mpg city, and 52 mpg highway.

The Elantra Hybrid, introduced in 2021 as part of the redesigned Elantra compact sedan lineup, shares its distinctive appearance and dynamic driving characteristics with its non-hybrid counterparts. Notably, it competes with the Toyota Corolla Hybrid and the upcoming Honda Civic Hybrid, promising an exciting year ahead in the hybrid sedan segment.
