Jeep Launches Limited-Edition Wrangler Moab 392 for 2026

Earlier this year, Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf reassured enthusiasts that the V-8-powered Wrangler wouldn’t be discontinued. Now, the company has revealed the 2026 Wrangler Moab 392, a limited-edition model that will keep the 6.4-liter Hemi engine alive for at least another year.

The Wrangler Moab 392 retains its impressive performance capabilities, with the 6.4-liter V-8 engine producing 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. “Our community made their voices heard, and we listened,” said Broderdorf. “The 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 will remain a defining force within the Jeep lineup.”

The SUV comes equipped with 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, a 4.56 axle ratio, and a 2.72:1 Selec-Track full-time transfer case. It also features a two-mode exhaust system and a cold-air intake with a water separator. The exterior boasts a body-color hardtop, rock rails, color-matched fender flares, and black tow hooks.

Inside, the Moab 392 features heated black Nappa leather-trimmed seats, a “premium” Alpine audio system, and a 12.3-inch infotainment display. Optional equipment includes a Sky One-Touch powertop, an 8,000-pound WARN winch, and all-weather floor mats. The Wrangler is available in several new limited-edition exterior colors, including deep-purple Reign, Goldilocks, Joose, Earl Grey, and Tuscadero.

One notable feature on every Wrangler, including the 392, is Jeep’s new “enhanced door hinge system,” designed to simplify the door removal process.

Pricing and Production

The 2026 Wrangler Moab 392 starts at $81,990, including the $1,995 destination charge. Notably, this is $20,000 cheaper than the 2025 Wrangler 392. Order books are now open, with production expected to begin in the coming weeks.

The Moab 392 is the first of 12 limited-run Wranglers that Jeep is launching as part of its 85th anniversary celebration. The next limited-edition Wrangler will be revealed on December 12.
