Kia has launched one of its largest electric vehicle discount campaigns yet, slashing $10,000 off every model in its EV lineup. This aggressive promotion follows the expiration of the $7,500 federal EV tax credit in September, prompting automakers to create new incentives to attract buyers.
Major Savings Across the Board
The $10,000 customer cash discount represents significant savings:
- 24% off the base $41,045 Kia Niro EV
- 23% off the entry-level EV6
- 18% off the three-row EV9
This new offer expands on last month’s incentives, which maxed out at $8,500 for the Niro EV and $9,000 for the EV6/EV9.
Financing and Lease Perks
While the instant rebate is appealing, financing offers additional advantages:
- 0% APR for 72 months on all 2025 EV6 models plus a $2,500 bonus
- 0% APR for 60 months on the EV9
- Up to $16,500 lease cash for the high-performance EV6 GT
Lease deals start at $209/month for the Niro EV, $309/month for the EV6, and $419/month for the EV9 (based on 24-month terms).
Enhanced Charging Access
Recent model-year updates include built-in NACS charging ports, enabling seamless access to Tesla’s expansive Supercharger network of over 21,500 stations nationwide.
Limited-Time Opportunity
These deals expire on December 1, 2025, with delivery required by that date. While substantial, Kia’s discounts trail some competitors like Honda, currently offering nearly $17,000 off the Prologue SUV. Hyundai has similarly extended its popular $189/month IONIQ 5 lease, underscoring both brands’ commitment to affordable EVs.
