The Toyota GR GT represents a new era for the automaker as the flagship model under its performance-focused Gazoo Racing sub-brand. With an expected starting price of approximately $225,000, this exclusive supercar won’t be available through standard Toyota dealerships.

Toyota’s project manager suggested buyers look to current GT3 market prices for reference – positioning the GR GT near the $231,000 Porsche 911 GT3, though significantly below the $375,000 (inflation-adjusted to $530,000) Lexus LFA from 2012. The GR GT’s premium pricing comes with a curated purchasing experience, available only through select Lexus dealerships.

  • Twin-turbocharged V-8 hybrid powertrain (V-8 + electric motor)
  • Minimum output of 640 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque
  • Production expected as a 2027 model year vehicle

A track-focused GT3 racing variant will launch concurrently, featuring:

  • Naturally aspirated V-8 (no hybrid system)
  • Aggressive aerodynamic enhancements
  • Shared suspension components with road version
  • Similar timeline for market arrival

The GR GT marks Toyota’s bold reentry into the ultra-high-performance segment, with final specifications and exact pricing to be confirmed closer to its late-2025 launch date.
