CATL, a leading battery manufacturer, has collaborated with Yutong Bus Co to introduce innovative battery packs designed to power commercial vehicles, including buses and various classes of trucks. Yutong, a prominent bus manufacturer in China, announced that these new battery packs, developed in partnership with CATL, boast exceptional longevity, with zero degradation over the first 1,000 cycles. The long-lasting EV battery packs, featuring a 15-year, 932,000-mile (1.5 million km) warranty, represent a significant milestone in the industry. This partnership builds on a decade-long collaboration between CATL and Yutong, aimed at advancing commercial vehicle battery technology and exploring new materials.
