Ford has faced significant recall challenges this year, issuing a staggering 138 recalls affecting millions of vehicles as of December 2025 – the highest of any automaker. This surpasses Chrysler (47 recalls), GM (26), Volkswagen (21), Honda (19), and BMW (19).
