The internet is buzzing with speculation about a sketch that might – or might not – be related to a new Chevrolet Camaro.

- GM Design shared photos and video from its Tomorrow’s Vision Today showcase.
- One sketch caught attention, appearing to preview a futuristic Chevrolet Camaro.
- Despite the rumors, it’s just a concept sketch with likely no tie to future models.
Last week, GM Design released a series of pictures showing their Tomorrow’s Vision Today exhibit. They billed it as a “mix of wall-mounted and floating frames” that “showcase a myriad of rendering styles and techniques from our talented design team.”
While that hardly raises an eyebrow, people quickly noticed a sketch of a futuristic sports car that appears to be a proposal for a new Chevrolet Camaro. It can be seen hanging from the ceiling and incorporates classic cues as well as some new additions.

Notably, the greenhouse and roofline recall the sixth-generation model, which went out of production in late 2023. Elsewhere, we can see an interesting front fender treatment that echoes the one found on the Blazer EV.

The hype surrounding this sketch is a classic example of the rumor mill in action. While it’s possible that GM is working on a new Camaro, there’s no concrete evidence to support this claim.
Moreover, a closer look at the exhibition reveals another, even more extreme coupe design that flew under the radar. This design appears to be a radical take on the Corvette, with a ventilated rear end and a sweeping spoiler.

In reality, both sketches are probably just examples of GM Design’s creative explorations, rather than teasers for upcoming models. As such, it’s best to take the speculation with a grain of salt and enjoy the designs for what they are – interesting concept art.
