Posted on January 5, 2024January 5, 2024 by thecruisectrlr

Rimac CEO Mate Rimac is discussing the ambitious robotaxi goals of Project 3 Mobility, a dedicated division within Rimac. The company plans to reveal a conceptual occupant shuttle, representing a unique paradigm in driverless electric transportation. With development underway in Croatia and the UK, the project aims to commence operations in 2026, initially targeting Croatia, followed by Germany and the UK in 2027, and expanding to 17 cities in Europe and the Middle East. This initiative, shrouded in secrecy since 2018, integrates an ecosystem including chargers, storage hubs, and parking spaces. Kia, linked to Rimac through Hyundai’s investments, is identified as a key supporter of the robotaxi venture.
