Tesla Model 3 Performance Specs Leaked: Faster and More Powerful Than Ever

Posted on March 10, 2024March 10, 2024 by thecruisectrlr

Details of the upcoming version of the Tesla Model 3 Performance have been leaked, suggesting significant improvements in speed and power.

The leaks originated from South Korea, offering insights into the enhanced specifications of the latest Model 3 Performance iteration. While Tesla initially launched the Rear-Wheel-Drive and Long Range variants in the U.S., a Performance configuration was notably absent.

However, recent revelations indicate that Tesla is gearing up to reintroduce a Performance Model 3 with substantial performance upgrades. The leaked documents, allegedly shared by a former Tesla employee, shed light on the remarkable enhancements planned for the new Model 3 Performance.

One notable improvement is the horsepower increase, with the new Model 3 Performance featuring a 3D3 motor for the front and a powerful 4D2 motor for the rear. The 4D2 motor, delivering 406 horsepower, marks a significant boost from the previous version’s 298 horsepower, resulting in a total of 618 horsepower.

Despite the power upgrade, the weight of the new Model 3 remains unchanged, showcasing Tesla’s engineering prowess. With a battery pack size of 82 kWh, similar to its predecessor, the range is expected to be comparable, pending EPA ratings.

Contrary to expectations, the leaked documents do not mention a dedicated Ludicrous version, disappointing enthusiasts anticipating such an offering.
