Situated in a leading European automotive epicenter, the Munich hub will concentrate on high-performance vehicle initiatives, cutting-edge EV technologies, creative design approaches, user-focused innovations, and pioneering research efforts.
The center is designed to expedite advancements in smart driving systems, vehicle performance optimization, and future-oriented EV architectures, all while upholding rigorous international benchmarks for safety and reliability.
It will unite a team of engineers, designers, and scientists to work alongside Xiaomi EV’s worldwide divisions, while cultivating collaborations with academic institutions and key industry players.
Additionally, the facility will prioritize skill-building programs, self-driving technologies, and seamless ecosystem connectivity, incorporating responsible AI practices and supportive infrastructure development.
This initiative expands upon Xiaomi EV’s triumphs with the SU7, SU7 Ultra, and YU7 models released in China, paving the way for the company’s debut in the European market by 2027 and solidifying its goal to lead in the realm of intelligent transportation worldwide.
